Alrighty folks! It's almost plant out time and that means that my basement and lights are going to be freed up for some crossing projects through the summer.

I have 4 DWC buckets available for growing peppers indoors all summer. (not to mention racks for seedling growout)
2 spots are already taken by White Fatalii and CGN-21500.

These Plants will be the Base for all my other crosses. Meaning that I will use pollen from plants that are outdoors in the rest of my collection crossed with these. These will be tagged and harvested and grown out in the basement to choose phenos. I'm planning on going for taste more than heat.

Plants to choose from

My biggest focus will be crossing the White Fatalii with CGN-21500 but will do plenty of other crosses with them as well.

Y'all are more than welcome to offer suggestions as to what you would like to see crossed with what as well. I'm sure I will be sharing seeds with most of you at some point (prolly F2? maybe some F1's)

Cool youre getting pods already, size is relative to container. Ive had mine in a little bed probably only 5 deep so they didnt get more than 2.5 foot tall

Hey man, sorry this is p1 - these will be off the first review where we did 14 plants. THat was quick man, under 2 weeks!

My writing is a bit special at times haha.

The plants are looking awesome!

First round of your seedlings arrived today. On the bottom there, is that a 1 or a 7 on the orange pheno? guessing 7 the fejoa flavored one?

What about the pods? Is their size relative as well?
Na pod size I dont think should matter as long as they arent runty indoor/winter pods. Yours looks pretty on par. Hogsweed still isnt stable so ive beeN getting everything from tiny pequin size pods up to as big as a fat cayenne

Just throwing out some Aji Painapple pics.  Here are my F2's.  Started these from seeds from pods from an overwintered Aji Painapple last season.  Gotta bendy ruler in there for size.

I call these F3's but they came off of the Aji Painapple F2 I grew last season that looked like a cross since those pods were red.  They tasted great anyways so I saved seeds and who knows what we will get.

Hey have sent the 3rd set of seeds from last weekend's testing earlier this week.

I also included a few more seeds from the 2nd test just in case. Based on how long it took for the first envelope to come I'm hoping you'll get the 2nd one in a few days.

it got here two days ago, just haven't had a chance to post or get any of them soaking. I got a few sprouts from the first batch I need to get potted. Hopefully this sunday.

El Scorp Orange two true plants almost exactly the same in growth

Omni - Bonnet as you can see massive difference one compact and the other growing normally... will take advice Jon on what I should do with the more compact plant ... does it need to be trimmed or left alone. I think I read earlier that this compact growth has been evidenced before

Pale Goat ... looking forward to this variety

As you can see growth of this Omni- Bonnet is compact

Hey John! You might be referring to a post I made a while ago. I ended up cutting most of my side shoots and this thing is still ridiculous. Picture does no justice, gotta see this thing 360, but here you go

none of mine this season are displaying that growth pattern. I wish they was. Both of mine have more the baccatum structure. My f1 plant last year though was massively wide 4 foot across (1.2192m) in a 15 gallon pot. wasn't more than 3' tall.

Here's a complete omni bonnet update.

These were in the same pots yesterday. Can tell they're in need of bigger shoes, especially #65, so he got upgraded last night. These are definitely the most chinsese appearing of my omnis

Now it gets interesting. This guy is like a little bonsai tree with an incredible canopy.

Top view of same plant. If I didn't know any better, I'd think this was a 1020 full of plants lol. The leaves are pretty small

Finally here's the bushy bonnet

Same plant, I had to cut out some leaves, thing is just too dense
