Mmmmmm...poppers!

Hey ya'll once again from the big dry ditch in Las Vegas. I was going to grill today but ahhh...a little too hot once again. Maybe tomorrow will be more appropos. My gal had bought some very nice ground beef to make some sliders but she changed her mind as usual and opted instead for spinach/cheese ravioli with garlic cream sauce instead. Of course I was enlisted to do the cooking. So what to do with the ground beef? I have peppers. I have cheese. Duh..como se dice en espanol....poppers!!
Ground beef, japs, 4 cheese Mexi mix, shallots, Lawry's and fresh ground pepper. Here tis. Notice the melon ball tool I use to deseed. Works perfect.

frydad4, they tasted just as scrumptious as you could imagine. Mixing the
habanero sauce with the softened cream cheese imbedded a tingly burn
into each bite and the Nathan's hotdog added a flavor that could almost
be the cure for the common cold.

Chile Juju, the dogs were not microwaved so hopefully they will be safe!

Booma, those poppers are looking mighty good!

poppers for tea again tonight, made 7, served 5, ate all 7 in the end. caramelised onion and cream cheese for the stuffing

Jalapenos and a few orange habs stuffed with cream cheese, chorizo, shredded cheddar, diced habs, and chile powders, and wrapped in bacon. Grilled till lightly charred.

Everything came out great! The jalapenos I had were weaker than normal, so the chopped hab in the filling was a good idea. The hab poppers were fantastic, just about the perfect heat for poppers IMO. In fact, I had leftover filling, so I bought more chiles and I'm gonna make more tonight.

do you call these poppers?...they are raw jalapeno's halved and stuffed with chicken salad topped with a little homemade cajun' spice...this was my breakfast this morning....and I must say they were delicious...

AJ I'd say those are close enough for rock n' roll and gub'ment work! I don't recall the popper overlords ever having a rule that they must be cooked. Looks like a dang healthy breakfast of champs to me.

Snap Crackle and Poppers - Yep that works those are poppers AJ and they look tastey ! One way to get the ol' engine moving in the a.m.
