food-bev Burgers? Hell Yeah!!

ldhs,,,i love that yu entered the throwdown....that is funny as all get out...... i can see it now you manning the grill talking crap to your friends about how this burger will be winning a crown,,,and bam you go to post and find out you couplw weeks early....

p.s. burger looking good.

A Kaiser to me is for a bacon, egg, and cheese. That's it. Burgers and pulled pork need the cheap white bun, or if going fancier, brioce. But no Kaiser. Too dry. No eggs, oil, or butter in a Kaiser.

However rolls are a preference, but we all know voters can be turned off by one ingredient. So the bun is key.

LD, looking forward to your entry in June.

Nah - just the warm up.
:D

THP: my burgers just showed yours where the bar is set. I have to out-do myself, so I'm afraid you don't have a chance.

:D

That's a good price for, choice "Beef Tenderloin"....................................."Filet Mignon" has a good bit of marbling....."aged" is even better

You're on the right track, though..............nice ad for your hot sauce, 3 opened bottles.............must be some good stuff!

heh - of course I put my hot sauce on my burger - if I didn't eat it I wouldn't expect anyone else to either!

2 open bottles and a sealed one, technically.

And those were filet mignon steaks, not choice tenderloin. It had some marbling, just didn't photograph as well....while I was making them I was thinking "this is a waste of a filet" - but man could you taste it in the burgers!!!

Ps - I think I'll be sending my web guy that pic of the epic burger for the site.
:D

That's ok JayT, I'll help fill the burger photo gap that exists on this page...

We took another vacation in a cabin on Watauga Lake in the mountains
of Tennessee and what is a vacation without burgers on the grill?

One-half pound patties with Vermont Sharp White Cheddar in the middle,
grilled and topped with bacon and onions sauteed in the bacon grease:

Topped with more cheese and bunned up with lettuce and
tomato. Ta-Da!

And for those who cannot get enough burger porn, we ended up making
burgers every single night we were there!

Well, that just makes us even Lucky Dog, for your entry also made me clutch my
crotch!

sicman, it was no Florida meet-up but the wife and I did manage to have a splendid
time. Lesson learned: make sure to bring extra Jagermeister should you happen to
vacation in a dry county. We had to spend an entire evening only semi-unsober...

And speaking of sexy, here's a ( money ) shot of the first-night burgers only semi-
clothed...
