Just remember, if you happen to pass gas in the next 48 hours, to call the CDC, or else you may be charged with detonating a WMD lol

Will do bro! Ya, it will be fun to watch! Another bonus about over wintering is that you get a huge head start for next season and the plants should be more productive as well!
I had no idea it took pods so long to ripen! lol

hahahaha JD ;) Mine are taking quite some time as well. The smaller pods seem to ripen faster. My bigger pods eg; Yellow Scotch Bonnet, Ancient Sweet, Fatalii, yellow Bhut are taking quite some time to ripen as well. The first harvest of the year takes the longest. The plant knows there's no hurry to ripen up...once it gets closer to fall, they switch gears and ripen much faster.

Right you are! To a certain degree, meaning if you're not around when a bad hail storm or down pour, it wont be very pretty for the plants! But that's an extreme scenario
Got a humidifier for the plants. Hopefully it will help the flowers to produce pollen. Thoughts???

well humidity is needed for pollen production, so it doesnt hurt. Let us know how it went.
