    Just found out that we're having another management restructure. So when my boss moves along, so will everything that was implemented during her tenure. And we start again... 4th restructure in 6 years

    Well, I don't think Dow Chemical is going anywhere any time soon, but yeah, that's usually not a good sign. Our site is a top performer globally, as well... so I think my boss just pissed off a lot of people in her one year there. She came to us from a government leadership position at a strategic oil reserve site.

    My job was basically the same. I just moved from a contractor to company man... And yes, I could always go back into contract work, but I'll just wait and see how it plays out.
    The girls decided they wanted a prank war. Didn't fall for the butter on the floor, or the saran wrap across the door... but the spit wads worked wonders!

    Yes indeed! But I think I need to rethink my method. The way I do it takes too long.... render the fat in boiling water and cook until the water is all boiled out... then fry in the remaining grease, remove fron oil and let them come down to room temperature, then fry again to get them to "crack"

    Anybody have a good marinade recommendation for flank steak. I'm making fajitas, and right now it's marinading in lime juice, salt, and pepper

    A little cumin and pineapple juice for a day or so to make it tender. I don't marinate any less than 24 hrs.
