Was at lunch with my dad earlier and my dad noticed a woman behind me wearing an oversized shawl wrapped around her. Dad, "So is the fashion these days just wearing a blanket around?" Me, *sigh* "God I wish" Then I saw her and it really was just like a trendy look blanket wrap, dreams do come true.
I woke up at 2 am about 5 years ago for Black Friday to get a vacuum, swore I'd never do it again. But today I stayed up till 1 am and bought another vacuum online. The old vacuum still works, the new one is a robot with UV disinfecting light. Dog hair be gone!
Finally caved and turned the heat on. I guess 38 degrees outside is my breaking point.

Designing holiday cards for a language learning school. If you got a holiday card in another language do you think you'd flip to the back of the card to find a translation, or would you just be like uhhh what is this card?
My pup isnt doing well. We had and urgent vist to the vet yesterday, waiting for test results today. Poor guy was quivering in pain. Seems to ne a bit better this am. But cant move his head correctly.

GUYS! For the first time in most of our lives the Chicago Cubs line up was just announced in a WORLD SERIES.
So I didn't get the part time axe throwing job. First interview went great, but the 2nd interview was a bit eye opening to how the company operates and sent some red flags up to me. Probably for the best as I usually skip town for a month once winter hits anyway and a new job probably wouldn't be down with that.

Replied to a part time job posting that sounded interesting on Tuesday. Had the first interview today, they want to do the second interview ASAP, possibly even later today. I wasn't expecting much but now I kinda want this job.

Usually I hate on Chicago, but tonight was a special Chicago moment. I was on the el coming home and I put the Cubs game on my phone I noticed a guy trying to peek over at it so I went over and stook next to him and people gathered around my phone to watch the game. Go Cubs Go!
