  • I guess you're a 'food shopping person' on a Friday as well then. What you going to get?

    What's the big race then?
Yeah one where they leave the day's binbags left in reception areas for the next mug to dispose of (Janice), and a planet where outside the 'work system' on the computer any other standard programs like Word or Excel are no go areas. What you up to tonight?
Nope, just a heated windscreen will do, I'm not lazy. I always ask the person who takes over from me who lives in the same town if they had to scrape their car before they left and they nearly always say no so I don't rush out to start it, I think they secretly live on a different planet.
You're all upright now, LOL. My car fund is doing alright at the moment. One thing I'll say about the Honda I've got is that it always starts and warms up quickly, well it does for an old car anyway. When it's iced over when I leave work late at night I want it to be quick. I stood outside the car scraping the ice off last night in the cold for well over 5 minutes with the heater on, ususally the screen would have cleared but it hadn't, I got in the car and my feet were nice and warm. I hadn't switched it from feet to windscreen, LOL.
Thank you. My payday is Thursday so I was really happy yesterday when I got a bonus £114 for 2 days missed holiday. I just giving my poor plant a litre drink, you were going all floppy. But I did see the start of a baby chilli, as long as you don't drop off and die. The weather here's been good, really sunny but cold.
I'm back, I rushed round the supermarket like a blue arsed fly. Just cooking some veg now, well it will be cooked for double time now I've started chatting to you. How's your day so far?
Hi ya! It took 15 minutes to post that last message. I'm so happy that it's friday. I had a good night last night too.
ha, I'm seeing double, stupid phone and guests interrupting my message to you. See you tomorrow big man. K x
Boo! It's me. Just a quick one to say I can't wait until tomorrow. It's friday and you're around. K x

I'll see you tomorrow (Friday) sweetheart after I've done the food shopping (about 2:30pm- my time). Have a wonderful day. K xx
Really? (with the height thing as I've crossed messages). I'm fine above a certain point with heights, just not planes with all that clonking (a word?) that goes on that you hear when you're flying. I'd ideally like to be in the seat next to the loo in the back of the plane.
I'm going to do dinner now, hopefully a bit more successful than last night where I managed to smash a pyrex glass lid on the floor. The dog liked the excitement and Con was like 'You stupid cow, I'll help you clean up anyway'. I blamed tiredness, OK it was probably Stella's fault.
Well that's the only way I've flown. I'm not great with heights anyway, I don't like standing on a ladder. I know it sounds strange but my feet go like jelly and all tickly. I never claimed to be normal anyway.
I hate flying, it's not a sickness thing though, I just don't like being up that high. I'm glad I'm a human and not a bird.
I won't go on roller coasters though, you know the ones that spin round themselves whilst the whole thing also spins round?
I love boats. Saying that I've only been on ferries, like across from Scotland to a Scottish island or Ireland to an Irish Island. Apart from that only from Dover England to Calais France and the rougher the sea is the more I used to like it. I have been on a boat down the Medway river (Kent) when Con was young, I was down by the river and a family offered to take us for a trip down the river on their boat.
Our chips are your fries, like Mcdonald's, our crisps are probably your chips. I don't mind the baked crisps, not on an evening shift anyway when all I do is eat, when I end up with the plain ones in a mixed bag I open it and shove curry and chilli powder in then tape it up again. My Mum loves celery dipped in salt. I never liked it from a kind when I went to birthday parties and they always had these boats which were celery as the main bit and a cocktail stick in it with a bit of rice paper for the sail. I ate the sail.
I never considered myself a picky eater though, it's just a meat issue. Apart from that I will eat anything but celery. I'm really not keen on greasy foods but if that's what's given to me I'll eat it. Connor isn't a big lover of chips or potatoes and doesn't really like burgers. I love breakfast cereal, I eat that everynight in bed when I get home from my late shift.
I like any meat that's not fatty or has bits of bone in it. You know that wafer thin sliced ham that you can buy? well I have to inspect it before I eat it. I know it's stupid. I won't eat sausages anymore because I'll always find a horrid bit in it, beef mince the same no matter how lean it's meant to be. I've found bits of bone in cans of tuna. I'm a bit of a pain in the arse to be honest.
