  • Hey, I was really looking forward to chatting with you, I even got out of the meeting! Love ya too *still really disappointed that you ain't here* I hope you have a lovely day anyway hun.
Speak to you on Thursday after work, it might be slightly later as we've got a meeting but I'm trying to get out of doing it after work.
Well me and you speak the same language, we always have. Hey wish me luck on Thursday when I have my meeting at work, I might need it after certain people have fallen out over the xmas rota, not me though, I'm just the mug who will do anything to keep the peace.

Aw I'm sorry but dinner time now, first hot meal since Sunday night so lets hope it tastes nice. Love ya. x
Aw thank you! My work mate always calls me chick, I guess even being over the pond we say the same stuff, even by saying 'I guess' sounds American actually.
What's slang for 'bird' in England?
    British Slang- A young woman.
[Middle English, from Old English brid, young bird.]
Yeah that was great, I'm a posh bird anyway so I don't speak common like that. Hey did you get stuck on the bird bit?
You're a shit! I did wonder why you didn't know what it meant as I've had Americans at work and they use it quite a bit.
No I'm not always right at all. 'Ain't' is widely used in the UK, it's not in the dictionary as it's slang really, a word meaning 'Is not/has not/have not'.
Yeah 'tire' means to get tired. Your spelling looks more modern though, ours looks like something from Shakespeare.
No problem, I thought that's what you meant but I didn't want to get it wrong. Is that how American's spell it? "Well DOH Kate, obviously" Sorry I've just never come across that spelling before.
Don't be sorry. I was only having a laugh. What's up with work? I heard that Disney Land is better, that's in LA isn't it? My Auntie used to live there. I'm pleased to hear about Avalon, are you fine about her going?
Well I worked a lot but not on the main days that you'd want off. This year I'm working the main days, so far I'm doing xmas Eve 7-3pm, Boxing Day 3-11pm, New Years Eve 3-11pm and New Years Day 7-3pm. My normal shifts only fall on the first two I mentioned, I'm just a sucker to work my normal shifts on top of these, especially as I'm the only one there with a child that's under 16.
