  • Oh yeah, I've got Irish blood in me. I hope no one ever offers to take me out to one of those places where you can eat the 'World's hottest curry' like when they put 20 Naga pods in it, you can just imagine it, me finishing my curry then undressing to lie down on the restaurant floor.
There was nothing wrong with the peppers, just the heat of them, plus I'm not used to eating as much hot stuff as I used to. I suppose most people would stop eating when they get to the point of thinking, 'I really can't take anymore', but no, not me, I'm too determined to finish my sandwich.
It wasn't nice, I felt really bad to the point where I was just trying to breathe normally and that I almost stripped off in the living room not caring who might have been able to see if they walked past. I've eaten more chillis than that before so it's strange that it happened. BTW I was gonna lie down on the cool tiled kitchen floor but was worried that the dog might try and hump me.
I was too hot so I half crawled up the stairs as I felt faint and stripped down and just laid on my bed until it passed, which was about 15 minutes later. By then I felt so cold and was shivering all over but that was OK, better than I felt before. I felt shaky too but knew I had to go out, it took another few hours for the shivering and goosebumps to go. It's like my body temperature went from one extreme to another.
Well I'm not sure why it happened. I mean I eat Naga's chopped up in a sandwich when I have them. This morning I had a small (half size) 7 pot, a Trinidad Scorpion, a Fatalii, an Aribibi gusano and some other very hot looking thing in a ham and cheese sandwich with lettuce, tomato and Cajohn's Fatalli Fire sauce and a Bhut Jolokia sauce and a Naga Morich sauce. It was hot and I really slowed down towards the end, my nose was running like mad. When I'd finished I started to feel like I did once when I had Mad Dog 357 from the bottle. I came over really hot and faint like. So I went to call down on the leather sofa but I was burning up like I had a raging fever and my clothes were stuck to me as my whole body was soaking wet with perspiration (that sounds better than sweat lol). Next bit following in another message because I ramble on too much apparently
How are you today? I'm a bit later back as I was delayed going shopping, my own stupid fault, I tell you about it when I've put the shopping away, lets just say chillis were involved.
I've heard that you can get it twice. When you're an adult I'm sure it can develop into shingles, I know a few people who have had shingles and it's quite painful. Your photos don't look like you've had bad acne as a teen.
No it's not a normal childhood thing really, only I got it, I was about 10 years old. I seemed to get the things that gave you a sore throat and fever. I had chicken pox really young and whooping cough but never measles. Quinsy was horrible, it's an abscess in the throat that can develop from tonsillitis, you can't swallow at all and often it needs to be removed or burst before it swells and blocks your breathing. I went to the doctor two weeks after getting it and she said after poking it I had to go into hospital in the morning to have intravenous antibiotics and maybe surgery if it was still the same. the nice lady doctor had obviously poked it well as it burst that night, it tasted like shit, but I could swallow after that.
My brother had croup and was asthmatic and suffered from eczema, I mean he had croup from a early age, and the rest very early in life. I've only had tonsillitis, quincy, scarlet fever, glandular fever and the normal childhood things earlier in my life.
Don't be sorry. I'm hardly ever ill, your not either. What illnesses have you had that are serious then? Without been too nosy lol.
Because (I know you shouldn't start a sentence with because) you are so quick at posting normally at that time. I'm the same with you with sickness. I remember crying when I was speaking to you just before xmas because I felt so ill with a chest infection and my bones ached so much, it hurt to walk, couldn't eat or sleep, but I refused to stop working.
Not the best day but that's life. I thought I'd posted in the wrong place for a minute, not of course that I expect to click my fingers and you'll be here. I was worrried you'd had the day off through sickness.
Probably, but you're intelligent and if we were talking face to face you'd get me. It's soooo nice to be chatting with you again! I'm gonna have tea now and I'm working the PM shift tomorrow but I'm here on Thursday afternoon. I'll send a message to you tomorrow on here anyway. Love ya. K xoxox
OMG that was a riddle wasn't it, WTF I never just stopped at "It was slow and boring" I'll never know. I did say I like talking.
Slow and boring workwise. It's because it was a Bank Holiday yesterday so really today is the usual Monday, the AM shift is normally dead and the PM manic (which I work). I've done Monday mornings before and they are the same as today, my workmates night today is the same as my Monday night, and I suspect her morning tomorrow will be similar to my normal Tuesday morning. Yeah I had a nice day, sorry for the essay about it.
Remember customers are always right, well they like to think they are. As long as you know you're right. How's your day been?
