    When to pick ghost peppers

Maybe twice the size.  The one on the far left I think looks the size of his.  Need clarification OP.  Our internet argument is about to hijack your thread.  :)

    When to pick ghost peppers

That's very close up.  It's in a pot the same size or smaller.  That "tree" is a stick maybe one and a half times (maybe 2) thicker than a pencil.     Far right.  Have to look back at his posts, but I don't think it's much bigger.  That's about a gallon I think.

I think it's awesome that you're the local underground superhot supplier.  You should dry and powder some out and sell it in dime bags.   "Dude can I score a bhut?  I really need a fix, man."

    the scary moment

Pepper sunburn freaked me out this year.  My otherwise healthy plants turned white within a matter of days just being in a window.   Who'd have thought tropical plants didn't like the sun?  Most recovered though.  I think full outdoor shade next year, then a little sun.

    When to pick ghost peppers

I have one in a small pot and they all look like this:     My bigger bucket ones look more "Bhutty".    I have another in a older medium sized pot, but those look more "Ghetto Bhutty".

Here's a quick step by step for my Ghost peppers:     My Bhuts as just little cotys.  They're so cute at that age.  This was just under a month after planting.   Just 5 days later.  First true leaves. (Sigh)     Ten more days.     Bhut on the right, 19 days later.     June 7th, 9 or ten...

I was thinking this.  Also, with all the pepper crosses out there, who's to say, without specific costly dna testing that my "Virginia Grims" are the same as his Reapers.  Very likely anything I would be selling would have cross pollinated with a neighboring pepper.  I'm not a commercial seed...

    Admit it...you have GSH

I agree, that's much of the appeal for me.  I look at the store stuff and think "I can make this better."

A Pepperhead glog: Pickling, Saucing, and Powdering

So one of my Bhuts had a really dry woody stem and I thought, even though it's green, it might be done, so I picked it.  Stem still green inside and it had started turning a shade of yellow.  My bad.  Rather than throw it away I figured let's cut it in half and have a look.  Smelled okay, looked...

Heh heh.  Good luck enforcing that.  Do they have the same deal as the Savina?  Wasn't that an issue a few years ago?   Actually I'm curious about whether other commercial seed sellers on here who have had done business with Ed have heard this?

    vendor The Hippy Seed Company

My first set of Butch T's got 0% germination, but THSC replaced them quick at no charge.  Stand up guys, I only planted 3 of the second set of seeds, but they all sprouted and the one left that I didn't kill is now producing pods.  The Bhuts they sent me were pretty close to 100% and are...

    noob pepper question

I planted my seeds last week of January.  First buds May 23.  First Pods June 13th.  Yesterday first sign of red on one of my bhuts.  Still plenty of green in the buckets, though.  I promise, if you check them a few times an hour, they'll ripen slower.  At least that's been my experience.

Is that the fight I have to look forward to when everything starts turning red?  Already found 3 pods with what looks like bites taken out, but I suspect bugs.
