  Probably a month or two.   I have six Jalapeno plants going, probably get up to another hundred pods before first frost.   Might do some sauces, have not decided yet.

Adam,   As always, looking great.   Those MFPJ26-Peach look amazing.

After fermenting (brining), I was thinking about pickling (vinegar and pickling spices) pepper rings.   Or, is that not something I can, or should, do?

  Thanks.   Yes, the Easy Fermenter lids are, well, easy.   I still have not found a glass weight I really like.

Thought I would try a ferment with only red Jalapenos, came up a little short, had to add two green Big Guys to top off.   Vidalia onion, garlic, four color peppercorns, coriander seed.

Red Primo on the left, what were supposed to be CPR on the right.   I am beginning to suspect, since the CPR that I took the pod from that produced the seeds for this plant was growing next a Red Primo last year, that I have a CPR/Red Primo cross.   They definitely are not the same; when I was...

Done two Jalapeno ferments so far this year, nothing special.   Thought I might do a super hot ferment.   The peppers:     Peach Bhut, Gnarly Chocolate Bhut, Justin's Super Bhut.   In a month or so, a half gallon of hot:  

No-one grows Burpee's Big Guy?   I have had some that were extremely hot (for a Jalapeno). Hotter than Biker Billy.   Had to pick a few:    

Harvested the Red Primo from the above pic.         Serious placenta and oil.       Quite a few seeds for next year.  

Grew Reaper one year, never had a single pod.   Red Primo and CPR are probably nearly on par heat wise, and I have a couple hundred pods per plant every year.

My recipe; quart Mason jar, 1 pint grain alcohol (190 proof), 50 or so dried and powdered peppers.   Soak for a month or so, giving a good shake every couple days,   Coffee filter to strain.

Two months after plant-out:       CPR (seeds from last years pods) are red:       I did have another Red CPR variation, but they have little to no tails.     Red Primo are my best plants so far:     Stay tuned...
