Hey, I think you have the wrong bug! There is a fly that will bite the pepper, called the pepper maggot fly. It looks very similar but I think that is a wasp.

How easy would it be to get a close to anhydrous ethanol product out of Everclear with fractional distillation? You've got around 20 degrees to work with inbetween them. Or are there too many contaminants in Everclear? I hear a lot of people use everclear for pepper oil.    If not I've heard...

Snip the buds off to save energy and cut the big leaves in half, it will help cut down on transpiration loss. Worked for me when cloning goat's weed.
