    Tepin x Lemon Drop F6

This is my Tepin x Lemon Drop.  I believe this year is F6.   These are always vigorous growers and flush with peppers.   I have been growing them since smileyguy697 send me pods from his F1 plant.  Each year I save seed from the largest pods.    The F1 pods were a little less than an inch long. ...

This really looks good!   I may have to cook up a sauce based on your ingredients.

I do the same thing...and with 7 Pot Whites and White Lightning Bolts as well.  I really like the color of the light colored sauces, so I use peeled Bosc pears and/or white peaches and/or parsnips and/or cauliflower...actually, that was a really BIG failure!    Don't get me wrong - I love...

It's good your wife was not along on that trip.  Wive's don't like the smell of kerosene on their men either.

Way too funny!    Perhaps you should call the sauce "Beer Run" - but best to not explain the name on the label.   Fantastic ingredient list.  When I retire, I'm moving down the street from you so I can follow along on your shopping forays.   Don't you just love envisioning your sauces and then...

Fantastic harvest!  Looking at all those tomatoes makes me tired just thinking of all the work to process them.  Thank God I don't have a harvest coming like that!     Antep Aci Dolma?  Never heard of it.  Looked it up.  Ooohh! Scott, if you can, save me some seed!

sun Plants in full sun throughout the day

Given your elevation and latitude, (712 ft & 44.77) I see no reason the mid day sun should bother your peppers at all once they are acclimated to being outside.  Make sure they don't dry too much on the really hot days.   I give mine as much sun as I can (880 ft & 40.52).

sun Plants in full sun throughout the day

I think what you are asking is if it is OK to plant them in an area with full sun all day long.   After they are acclimated, as per the suggestions above, it is find for them to be in full sun all day.  Some varieties, like C. pubescens, may do best with some scattered sun for part of the day. ...

I love sauerkraut!   It's so simple to make that both my attempts ended with Kahm yeast and were tossed out.  Dammit!   'bout time I give it another go.

You are more than welcome.  I have sent out, and received, so many seeds over the past five years. The THP community is a special place.   If you see I have anything else you'd like, Rob, feel free to ask.   Sorry, off topic again!  :P

    Hi there from southern Italy

I spent a month in central Italy in 1977 - stayed in Rome, Florence and Orvieto with bus trips out to Sienna, Bologna, Pisa, Tivoli, Monteriggioni, San Gimignano and a train to Pompeii.  I was studying art history while in college.   The art professor who took our group knew Italy like the back...

    Hi there from southern Italy

Welcome to THP!   I love your country.   My time there has mostly been from Rome to Florence and the surrounding area.   I would love to get to the Amalfi coast and I have a real need to get to Milan and see the Last Supper in person!
