Yes! I've used in... well... "other" applications and it makes a very nice watering tea. I've no idea how it would perform with chile plants but it's worth a shot. It's very high in soluable potash from what I remember and what it did with the "other" plant species was quite profound and...
The manzanos and rocoto's are related and albeit the manzanos aren't known to be as hot as the rocoto they both tend to have an "oddball" in there that's siginificantly hotter than the rest!
Safer is better than sorry.

Now, I really would not recommend scarifying chile seeds perse' in that the odds of damage to the embryo are too great. You can germinate faster by following what I've listed below.
I planted 80 seeds in the above rectangular Ziplock...
It's full retail for sure and I think he was making it a multi-pack to lessen the sting of the price. I dunno. Just my suspicion. I've got em though and that's what matters. Last I checked earlier he only had 2 packets left. I'd been searching around for the Moruga's and found that everybody at...
"Needless to say I'll trade the Orange Scorps for 7 Pot Barrack-Pores or Trinidad Chocolate 7 Pots or 7 Pot Cardi's if anyone's got them. Looks like there's 16-18 of them in the pack."

I've emailed Jim about a possible trade...
PJ that's exactly what I'm doing. I was looking for the email that he'd sent me that divulged the names of the other two. Might've deleted it. We'll see what happens. He's a really nice guy. I met him at the Fiery Foods & BBQ Show in Albuquerque last year.
This isn't meant to upstage Jim by any means but something changed somewhere. I'd put in an order while there was still a handful of Moruga Scorpion seeds left and had purchased the rather expensive 30+ Variety pack($29.49 after shipping). 10+ Moruga's and two other types to be thrown in the...
Well aside from the 130 Numex Heritage 6-4's that I have in a friends greenhouse down south and the other 119(lost one) that I'm about to drive down next week I have a few other irons on the fire.

Last time I was down on the central coast a former girlfriend of mine and still a very good friend to this day gifted me with this red rocoto pepper plant. Thing is it was almost entirely yellow, leaves nearly falling off, pale peppers on it and it was crying desperately for bonemeal. I've had...
"The dosages they likely used were high and the sample size they used was likely too low to be considered conclusive at the moment."
Isn't that the way we do things??? LMMFAO!!!
The dosage was probably enough to knock over an elephant but I see your point so I won't go running to the hills...
I'm in California Eephus. I was in Rising Star off of I-20 when living there. Thanks for subscribing by the way. I guess at times it's hard for me to see the medical industry go back and forth on the benefits of, detriments of etc any substance that gives us hope. Doesn't it seem that any time...
Eephus, I do agree that my response is indeed reactionary and for all good reason. It is how we are 'marketed' what is good and what is bad for us that gets under my skin(no pun intended). I will agree with you whole-heartedly on the topic of moderation. Anything taken to an extreme is instinct...
