Virgil,   If you have reflux, and it truly is crippling, you should not be eating anything particulary hot until you have identified the exact cause, e.g. endoscopy to see if the stomach valve is closing properly. If that is the case, the hot food AND anything else you have to try and calm it...

I read today that the capsaicinoid (sp?) family is soluble in alcohol, so perhaps some 100 proof or higher content whisky in small quantity can help remove it ? (and then you can drink some to help alleviate the pain further, but don't use Bourbon - that's crap compared to the Scottish malts...

Where does the jigsaw rank amongst the superhots?   Is it perhaps a good answer to the question of hotter than a reaper ?   (Growing both types this year - hope to tell for myself ;) in a few months or so)

Thanks juanitos - didn't think to look there :doh:   Going back to the OPs question, I now remember that I have seen one particular reviewer go for the chocolate reaper (which he claims it is most likley to be) and say it is clearly hotter than the "standard" and very very floral.   Regards,   Tim
