24 hours is fine for very young seedlings but as they get a bit older there are aspects of photosynthesis which occur in the dark so something like 20/4 is better at that point.

mmm...sofrito... i had a Puerto Rican lady who came to our farmer's market regularly this season- she would buy whatever amount of aji dulce's i had each week to make sofrito- she was freezing it. i also had another Puerto Rican couple who got their relatives in Puerto Rico to send some seed...

huzzah!: aji dulce 2 (delicious, prolific and a huge seller at the market), black stinger (great flavor), scorpion yellow CARDI (gigantic), 7 primo (coolest looking pods, hot as hell), barrackpore (prolific, huge) meh: purple bhuts (beautiful and prolific but not overly tasty), all the rocotos...

i think black stinger is the best tasting brown i grew this year.

none that i know of... god i'm sick of seeding peppers...

really depends on the application- we do the following each year and then add another couple: smoked cayenne smoked habanero smoked scorpion/ghost jalapeno lemon datil mango blackberry 7 pot datil apple butter orange (the fruit) habanero pumpkin butter

i thought the purchasing public had been promised some documentation eventually...

yep- damping off for sure- water more thoroughly less often so the surface of the soil doesn't stay wet.
