A good way is to take plant out of its pot and root wash all the soil away then add fresh soil...
A good way is to take plant out of its pot and root wash all the soil away then add fresh soil, the plant will stall for a week or so but you will be shot of the Sciarid fly larva, then always bottom water and keep surface as dry as the dessert lol- Ian S

Brown scabs under leaves
At this time of year I don't think you should be overly concerned just pull off all affected leaves, after all your not trying to grow the perfect leaf, its all about pod production. I think people get a little obsessed about the smallest detail, don't forget there are thousands upon thousands...- Ian S
