I'm using Powerfeed (+Seasol) and a little supplementary Epsom Salts. I too, use mushroom compost and also cow manure.
Haven't had any issues at all (except switching to Charlie carp for a week and burning them :fire:)
I've tried my hand at growing wasabi, was a bit challenging in our Australian summer and the pay-off, although delicious, was pretty small.
Would be good in a flood and drain system I think.
Incidentally, I'm on holiday in Thailand and that first one looks exactly like something I picked up at a market today, to bring home. I've not tasted one yet. I'll check when I finish drinking cheap cocktails :drunk:
THIS is what you want, I'm tellin' ya!
It's essentially oil, chilli, shallots, msg, salt and msg... and salt... It's the happiest paste in the paste world
Not likely. Know your market! It's mostly gardeners!
On the small, unshapely pods.. It does very well say that they are off pheno before you buy them.
How's the heat and flavour? That, I would like to know!
I've never had any packages seized by customs.
As mentioned;
thehippyseedcompany.com.au (NSW)
junglerain.com.au (Vic)
wildfirechilli.com.au (WA)
All are fantastic.
Taeyang Gochu is the variety you want, I believe.
I managed to get some seeds sent from Korea but they did not germinate :/
Edit: The peppers in that link look identical to them, to my eyes.
