so do these things reproduce like fish tank snails? if they do you should be sitting on a gold mine......i put 2 damn snails in my tank last year and about six months later was over run with the wee little bastards.....had so many i ended up taking down my tank.
are the edges of the leaves always crinkely (dunno if that is a word) on the jolokias? My inca red drop did that this year and it looks really cool when the plant gets big.

1. Half potting soil, half topsoil
2. Fert every 2 weeks at 1/2 to 2/3 suggested rate
3. Moisture meter, or whenever they look like they will die
4. Yes on the epsom salts
5. Watch them every hour or so and completely freak out at the sight of anything peculiar
6. I use 12 inch pots and 5 gallon...
have you eaten any of the filius blue? i ate one today....well....chewed it twice and spit it out. i dunno if it is just mine but they taste like a foot smells.
what are the small blackish ones in the lower left? and congrats on the paper lanterns....i am depressed that mine didn't even get one stinkin pod this summer.
To be honest the most pleasant suprise besides the tails on the scorpions was the taste and heat of the yuquitania. i had never heard of them before, but decided to give em a whirl. they taste great and are very prolific.
Just thought I would share since I am always so jealous of everyone else.

I just went out and looked again this morning to find that I have a couple more pods on the plant, but not with tails as noticable as this one. Seems that the pods are very inconsistent.
