I think Clemson spineless is the most popular variety. It's a good reliable cropper. Great plants to grow. There's a red variety which are stunning Bowling red I think is the name.

Interesting stuff! thanks for all the posts. In the end I smoked the tabasco chilies with some hickory chips, not fully dry yet, so I'm finishing drying them off in the greenhouse! I'll let you know how it turns out! Thanks for taking the time to reply :dance:

Cheers Chilliman. I got some yellow passionfruit seeds from Baker Creek last season, and one out of ten seeds germinated!

Anyone has tried this? I've got loads of tabasco's to harvest and wondered If anyone has a fool proof recipe! OR should I just stick em in the freezer!

Awwwwwww!!!! saying that we had wild boar on our land and I was quite tempted to get the BBQ on, I'm a vegetarian too! It's like they come on to your land in the middle of the night (or broad daylight in your case) have a wild party or two and bugger off leave you with all the mess!!!!!
