    I can't see what all the fuss is about jiffies - used them the last two seasons and had great results. I don't remove the netting pre-planting, I just don't let the roots go crazy and ball up too much prior to planting out - guys you gotta check 'em!

    I started my germination in September (1st month of Spring in Oz)- I planted out 20 jiffy pellets with two seeds in each pellet, using a heat pad set to 40 deg C I had 100% of seeds come up within 2 weeks. my seeds came from NMSU. use bottom heat for accelerated results.
