cause they are so damn good fresh, its a waste to turn them into what is essentially paprika powder IMO. You can buy paprika powder, you cant go to the store and buy brazilian starfish

some pods make better powder than others.  Some taste better fresh, some better powdered (in my opinion yellow 7 pots are awesome powder and a bit too much fresh). Cant see brazillian starfish being worth powdering

I 'just' live here, I'm English. I get great success with chillies. But you need to live in okinawa to get year round. If you have space you can grow more than you can eat. I give away about 50% of my xhillies
