shopping What's everyone's experience with myco products?

making myco takes a lot of effort, you can't just leave root fungus in dirt and expect it to thrive I ended up going with this stuff, since an ounce will be enough for 150-250 plants and it's only $6 per ounce   http://fungi.com/product-detail/product/mycogrow-soluble-1-oz.html

shopping What's everyone's experience with myco products?

myco doesn't do anything in compost tea, I've looked up a lot of sources but basically they all say something like   Mycorrhizal fungi will always improve the health of your plants.  You'll want to purchase an endo mycorrhizal inoculant that contains Glomus intraradices and Glomus mosseae...

tutorial Beginner's guide to AACT/Compost Tea

found this over at the grass city forums, I think it's true...my compost tea doesn't smell (probably because of Strapped) but the compost itself smells horrible when I pull it out 5/ One can make good ACT with an aquarium pump in 5 gallons of water. We did almost a year straight of research...

    another flower drop thread :)

it's rained 5 days in a row here so your plants probably dropped flowers just from overwatering    2-3 hours of evening sun isn't enough to make your plant want to flower... I have a lot of plants getting 12 hours of sun that are flowering/forming pods already. You should give them as much sun...

    Yellowing leaves and falling off?

yeah too much water will make the bottom leaves drop, doesn't affect the plant if it's big but it'd stunt the growth if it's only that small mine used to have huge bottom leaves but now it's top heavy cause of all the rain

    sun to much sun?

depends on if you like bigger or smaller leaves, if you like plants with huge leaves don't give them any direct sun and they'll still produce a lot and grow pretty well   if you harden them off properly they'll grow with smaller leaves but they'll be fine, might produce more but not a...

tutorial Beginner's guide to AACT/Compost Tea

started composting by putting rotten fruit/grass clippings/coffee grounds in the paint strainers I bought for my tea, it's been raining a lot but the compost process is going pretty well, coffee grounds have a lot of nitrogen but I've been reading on the weed forums that 1 tablespoon of molasses...

pics RIP Bhut Jolokia seedlings - I've done all I can. Pics inside.

The pepper fields in Jamaica (scotch bonnets) and Assam (India) are both closer to the equator than south FL/CA but they still get a good crop without high tech dirt/too much water.

they died because you watered too much, gave them too much sun, gave them too little sun etc. I did the same thing, you have to leave them alone for a long time to see what works and what doesn't.   Trying to get results by changing things so often would be like trying to see what the best...
