Thank you for that recipe.  I havent tried anything close to that before, but I feel like that might be an awesome aioli substitue for fish tacos.

Growing cold season crops in the gulf coast

Anyone have experience with growing greens in the gulf coast?  Its my first season branching out and wanting to do some spinach, radishes, and leafy greens.  I'm already growing tomatos, cucumbers, squash, and of course a ton of peppers, but its just too hot for the tender plants.  Maybe an...

    Epic Hot Pepper Harvest Mistake!

From my personal experience, superhots will melt latex over time.  I use the purple nitrile ones and change every 10-20 mins when dealing with a lot of them.

Leaves eaten by something, a little help please

Looks like the damage my plants suffered from aphids in May.  My neem oil didnt seem to get rid of them, ended up having to use sevin dust to get rid of them.  if you spray your plants with a little water from below it can knock a bunch of them off too.

It was definitely a hit with my friends and family, I used a lot of cayennes and a couple habs and one reaper.  Lots of up front heat but tapers down within a minute or two.

i've only made the one sauce so far.  Wish I had written down the exact measurements.  It was a very basic sauce with vinegar, salt, garlic, peppers, and a squeeze of lime juice after cooking.  Came out to 3.8 on my ph meter after cooling.

First season growing, second flush off these guys.  Peach ghosts, Habaneros, Cayennes, and Japs.    Anyone have a favorite recipe for peach ghosts?  I had some success with a cayenne sauce with a couple ghosts added, but I actually have enough of them now to make a  sauce featuring the ghosts.  ...

First attempt with my own peppers, louisiana style with a kick

Thank you for the tips!   I noticed the lime juice coming through stronger than i'd hoped after sitting for a couple days.  I hadn't thought about adding apricots, they're in droves at the fruit stands here.

First attempt with my own peppers, louisiana style with a kick

I used 2 pretty full standard sized ziplock bags of cayennes, added 2 large mustard habs, and a couple reapers, few japs i picked that morning and 6 cloves of garlic.  Didn't grow the garlic but all the peppers were from my plants.  Dry seared  for a minute or two before rough chopping in the...
