Hello everyone, would anyone have any Tobasco or any Hatch variety seeds to spare? I'll gladly paypal a few bucks for them. It looks like my seeds from a few seasons ago are not germinating...how long do they last anyway?
Thanks!
Hello, I'm looking for seeds for the below varieties:

Chilaca
Cascabella
Scotch Bonnet
Bonny Best Tomato

Let me know if you're interested in any of these and I'll gladly trade for them...
Thanks guys.
Would one of these bad boys work for my entire grow area? I have Amazon Prime. Would I notice a difference in my electric bill?

Awesome, thanks for the responses!. What Ive gathered so far is 5' x 7' is more space than Id need for 12 plants and 4 of those fixtures would not be enough light for my needs.
If I were to make a 4' x 4' area for 12 plants would that be enough?
Also, could you provide links to the...
This is the first year I'll be growing a salsa garden (peppers, tomatos, onions) completely indoors and I'm trying to figure out the best lighting set up. I'd like space for 12 plants and was planning a 5' x 7' area with a frame to hang light fixtures from. I was thinking 4 4ft dual bulb shop...
I did grow some last year but I didn't have this camera then. :(
Most were shot in either 5.6 and 8. Some were shot at 22 like the 7th one down.
PM me your address.
This is the third year with them for me and I'm happy.
I agree, sometimes its hard to tell how moist the peat is. I almost...
I didnt do anything but put them in the jiffy pellets for the seedlings in the pictures. I am trying out the paper towel method for the first time this year though.
Some macro shots of my seedlings and a gratuitous picture of my dog. All hand held using a Nikon D3100, 40mm Nikon Macro Lens.
I resized the very large pics.

Peperoncini
Hungarian Wax
Purple Beauty
Tobasco

I saw the same thing on their site and read up on Cascabel peppers but they don't look much like em. The Cascabella pepper looks to be it!! I'm going to order some seeds and try them out this year. Thanks.
Helllllllo,
I'm trying to ID these peppers and I think I'm fairly close but I wanted some other opinions. I was in Turkey for a few weeks and they have these pickled peppers at every restaraunt. They call them "acı biber turşusu" which translates to pickled hot peppers. The closest I've come to...
Below are some pics I took of the sauce. It has a VERY smokey flavor but isn't quite the consistency I wanted. I wanted like a Franks consistency, this is a little more chunky for my liking. I'm guessing I need to use a blender and not a food processor.
