    Purple bhut jolokia seeds

More updates , a few days short of 30 days since seeds were planted , not germination . Looking great , no special treatment , no nutrients , just premium potting soil . I did have 10 pots but the cat ate one :shame: bad cat closer view of the largest , currently at 5cm or so

Purple veins, more Calmag or something else?

Some of the pics including the second one showing new growth look to me as early signs of broadmite. Hopefully time 10-20 days will prove me wrong but having lots of experience with this little beastie you may be in for a fight

    Purple bhut jolokia seeds

I have never grown them out myself, I have been told by other growers the heat is right up there but not as hot as the reds , more than that I can not comment. The plants them selves grow and germinate MUCH faster and I would put them somewhere aroung the 90-120 day mark again this is not from...

Ahh thanks . Firedup is in Queensland , high heat and lots more humidity than here and his plants are as in the pic . CFL Temperatures

I bought my grow tents , most impressed with the 250w cfl and the growth . I have moved the light up to see if I can gain some stretching but not really a concern at the moment. maybe in a few weeks may have to look in a bit of a leaf trim although that would probably encourage more side growth...

    The curled leaves thing.....again

THP is the best , I had this problem in S.Aust last year , could not discover what the problem was . Sent samples to the DPI . they sent them off to DPI in QLD with the thought it may have been tomato leaf curl virus , unknown in S.Aust and the reply came back hormonal damage probably due to...

    CFL Temperatures

Thought I would add a new reply to this . I was just checking the thread and looked at the pic I posted 6 days ago . Since flushing the plants and watering with nothing but rainwater the plants have put on at least 25% in those 6 days . I hope the pics ddoes it justice , again 250w dual band...

    CFL Temperatures

Sort of proves the point about the cfl lights , especially the lack of heat is a + growroom is around the 27c mark which is a good temp , humidity does not seem to be a problem . As for the stretching I even moved the lights up to encourage some upward growth and stretching the plants are...
