The first dozen or so were pretty tame, a couple were milder than even a Jalapeno, but patience will reward you. They're getting quite hot now, not on the same scale as the Jonahs but still pretty hot. I find the first lot of pods I get off any plant don't live up to their potential so I'm not bothered by mild early ones. Hmm, if the Jonahs are going to get hotter then I'm in serious trouble....:mouthonfire:

Yeah i am quite happy with the size of the pods considering that they are in a container of only about 3 1/2 gallons. One thing is though even though they are labeled as yellow's as the pods ripen they tend to get more orangish.

@Noah i cannot honestly answer that at the moment as i am drying most of what i am getting off the plant and giving some away. I will have to try some and get back to you. The reason that i mentioned that they were mild in heat is because my friend that i gave one to said that he was expecting more heat from it seeing as though it was a 7.
 
Nope, this is the first time for me. I am not a stickler for pods being true to their names so i am not dissapinted at all, i was just curious. You cleared that up nicely, thanks.
 
I will bring this one into work with me, then I will cut into appropriate size rings for whomever wants to participate then consume and describe flavors and heat with each other. Theyres a bigger one on the plant right now that i will be saving the seed from. actually my buddy chris, brandon and i have been eating fresh fatalii pods while we work right before our dinner rush pumps us up kinda! I myself have been basiclally training myself with fatalii's to get ready for the fresh super hots to eventually be able to consume like whole scorps and be able to control myself but i aint kidding myself i still get hiccups and the whole shebang bit time with the fatalii's soo this is gonna be fun.
 
Actually I will be doing the whole fatalii pods into to work tonight for Neil style hopefully i'll post it up tonight but me and woman will be drinking and she does not like hot pepper .com when we r hanging and drinkin:)
 
:rofl: Fatalii's to train for Jonah's and such, thats like riding a moped to prepare for a formula one race :D Or put it this way, it would be like eating a Jal to prepare for a Hab.
Thats the good thing about Super dooper hots, no matter what they WILL kick you a$$ into next week!
 
I know thats why im scared! it just the hottest pepper i have right now at the moment so it does the trick i guess for now till a few days when i pop my 7pod cherry:)
 
Yeah don't get me wrong mang the Fatalii is plenty hot. I just find it hard to believe how hot those other nukes can be!
