Nice pod and pic ya got there Jimmy.

I picked a few just like that one today, I love the look of the Y7s, so many shapes and sizes. And it helps that they taste bloody great too... These are definitely going to be planted again next year. I could eat them with every meal.

I like them too but my major producer this year was in a container. The one in the ground has produced pods but it has heaps of green ones on it that seem to never ripen!

These 7 pot Brain strain pods are sooo fascinating. I wonder how such interesting chilis could stay unnoticed for so long time. I was never into the hottest of the hot chinenses too much but these look so wonderful that I really want to grow them next year. I missed this season as it is too late for germination of chinenses here. Hopefully I can get some seed during the season.

Wonderfull! And thanks to everyone who is sharing and spreading these varieties.

My Yellow 7 Pod from last season, sourced from AJ, not as pimply as the red. I'm trying another source from Oz this year. Good lookin pod.

All my super hottie pods seem to get more pimply (and probably hotter)when I bring them into the hot greenhouse during the summer. My outdoor pods aren't usually as impresive looking:(

exactly my thoughts.

My overwintered Brown 7 Pod plant really starting to push out pods now. These are the slender version of this variety and my all time favorite. My 3 year old Brain Strain is also is loaded with pods and will have new seeds available from the original mother plant in a few short weeks.:)

wow cant wait to see that brown seven pod ripen.
Any new shots of your brain strain mother plant? would be cool to see some more pod/plant pics!

Those are absolutely wicked looking pods PRF. Glad to hear you still have the original brain strain plant growing. I've yet to experience the full on heat of a 7Pot. I've got a few on the go (7BP and Jonah) and will hopefully get to try them this summer.
