seeds 7 Pot Brain Strain Seeds?

I've yet to taste/test a 7 Pod. The hottest pepper to cross these lips where some Bhut Jololkias I got from CCN. Not being real smart about those I made some poppers ....... NEVER did that again. I use them ... but not like that. I'm no Neil but few are ..... with the Bhut Jololkia I get a taste for a millisecond then it's all heat. I use them when I want to kick something up or shut someone up.

sooo.. i managed to secure a few seeds from someone really really amazing in this forum.. now the question is.. should i start a few really late seedlings and hope to get a small crop then over-winter the plant (not an issue), while sacrificing a spot in my fire escape or should i just wait 'til next year... ARGH!
 
patrick .... I couldn't find my original thread on this ... guess the data base doesn't go that far back. But the basic jest was ... I took two Bhut Jolokias and made poppers. Real nice ones .... cream cheese , lime juice , a little sharp cheddar , and wrapped them in thick bacon slices. So I had four , two for me and two for the wife. Man they looked good ! I gave the miss two and kept two for me. She waited to see my face as I took a good sized bite. As fast I took my first bite .... all I could say is .... SHITE .... That's not funny !!!! In my mind I heard my old Texan Mom say " Clean your plate !! There's starving people in the World " So ..... I finished all the poppers but a tiny bite my wife had. I'm proud to say I saved someone in a 3rd World country because they didn't have to eat one !! Never tried that again ....

Thanks P. Dreadie, I appreciate you doing that. Would have loved to have been there. Or not. I'm not real good with peer pressure.

i'd like to see some nice morouga's next to the brain strain.
i think the BS is soo spec def cuz of the appearance. and heat of course.
my BS plant is starting to do sooo damn good. hopefully i'll have some OP seeds in a few months ,i will share that i grew.
 
I may try to do a packed raised bed with Morougas Nate. I don't usually do it, but I've successfully intensively planted super hots in a 4' x 12' x 12" high raised bed. It's kind of fun to see it all smashed together and digging for pods in the jungle. :) The year I got rabbit manure was the best. The garden went crazy.
 
rabbit manure? soo many manures, is this the best for pepperrs you seem to think i will trust you when gettign manure.
i forgot who said it but isnt the morouga almost the same thing as the BS?.
i would love to see that chris. a morouga moat!
 
MrArboc .... Nuff respect !! That was it alright. Maybe the story was better the first time. The heat and burn was fresher in my mind , I could hear Moms voice much louder. I was more humors .... maybe .... But I still remember that first bite !!

I'd just like to know how you where thinking when you thought that Bhut Jolokia poppers was a great idea. But that should probably be another thread:)
 
I have to say this plant grows awesome and looks like its going to be huge. I will also take PRF's advice and others when handling these beauties and handle with extreme caution!!

I personally want to grow them for the look and to make a whole heapin helpin of different super hot sauces and powders. My wishes are not limited to Brain Strain, but of the BS in particular I'd like seeds from PRF's mother plant, coz they (to me) were by far the besst looking, the others from seeds he sent out looked similar but nothing quite matched up, so the closer the better IMO. So yeah, thats my motive anyways.

EDIT: The want/need began by reading his 7 Pod skin porn thread, those pods were so evil and just plain pretty to look at.
 
For me, my whole new found obsession started with the pics of the BS in the 7 pod skin porn thread. I had no idea how cool the pods can be, or how many types there are. Hopefully have my own little pepper garden of Eden this spring. Hopefully add to PRF's thread that started it for me :)
 
I think they look really great myself. Patiently and quietly waiting to see if I get the honor of receiving seeds so that I may grow it next year as well. ;)
