A quick peak in Datil's garden

Hello THP fellows,

i haven't been posting much of lately so i thought it was time to share some quick shots.
This year's grow is really on a small scale due to the chronic lack of time, but i'm back to superhot land where little harvest goes a long time :D

- 2 x Chocolate Moruga (SLP)
- 2 x Trinidad Scorpion Red CARDI (Bhuter)
- 2 x Naga Morich (my seeds)
- 2 x Brain Strain (SLP)

Things have been rolling pretty slow so far but the nice weather is finally come and i hope to have some nice fruits hanging in the summer.

Nice to see THP back on track
Things have turned pretty good in my garden despite a giant heat wave.
TS Cardi and Moruga Chocolate seems to tolerate the insane heat/humidity pretty well, Moruga Choco is a monster so far production-wise!
Fast forward to today's harvest!

Hope to update you soon, Brainstrain is getting close to first ripe pod - a little on the small size so far- annuums are looking good as well, i've kept them is super small pots to speed things up and mainly to check F2 seeds for the next year.

Have a nice sunday!

A great Harvest indeed well done and sit back and have a few 🍻🍻 😉

Small update.
Annuums are finally putting out pods.
Here's a family shot, not bad considering the super small pots:

I've already made some powder from the recent harvests.

Moruga Chocolate is really nice as all around, very hot but not deadly hot. It's a notch milder than original Moruga for sure wich makes me questioning the credibility of the same old "natural" variation claim...

TS CARDI Red on the other hand is screeeeeaming hot, it's a little less pleasant taste than Moruga (i would define it a little more "acidic").

So far i'm really pleased with these powder batches, considering than i'm not an huge chinense fan except for bhuts/nagas.
No off tastes, no flowery/perfumey notes at all. Probably the amount of capsicine masks pretty well all the rest LOL :D

Thanks for watching/reading!

Don’t know how I missed this part of your grow log, Fabrizio. Dang

The batch of Moruga chocolates are some of the nicest chocolate
‘golf balls’ I’ve seen. Nice consistent size and color. I’ll bet the
powder is super tasty. Of all the powders I have made, The chocoate
varieties are my favorite!

And those CARDI Scorpions! I hope mine (seed from @Jeffcontonio )
have enough time to color up like those.

Good work all around. What size pots are you referring to as ‘super small’?

Thank you Paul!!
I confirm that chocolate powder is really tasty!
The annuums are in 0.9 gallons pots, considering that I've started them very late (end of May) they're doing well and producing just in time before the cold weather. Small pots usually speed up production because of the roots pressure in my experience. Obviously the harvests are less than optimal...

+1 Fabrizio. I am only growing 6 in large containers next season.
The rest in 2 or 3-gallon pots. I do love the look of the giant purple
Bhut hybrids, though, when they are in a mega container.
