AJ's 2015 season prep

Good luck on the season! Glad you're back can't wait to see how awesome the garden will be! I still remember those scorpion trees you had your relative growing.
 
Looking good already AJ! Do you find any problems with the cement garden? I'm thinking of doing something similar for next year and trying to find input on pros and cons over using cedar.

no sir...matter of fact, the cement farm is the best growing area I have...the soil is 16" deep which is plenty enough for tomatos and peppers in their first year IMO...and the blocks provide a "THERMOS" type insulation from the direct sun...it drains well being that the bottom of the bed is 8 inches off the ground...plus I have drip fertigation run...
