It was touch and go with the news for a while. Seems like it was yesterday, and now he has come so far. Congrats to him for his perseverance.
 
Nice to put a voice to Alex mate. He sounds like one level headed and kind hearted bloke.
It's when things like this happen that reminds me to slow down and take count of my own life, how lucky i am to still be above ground and be able to spend time with my family and my loved ones.

I believe that this is just the start to a wonderful life for Alex and he will certainly go on to help many other people avoid being placed in the same situation he was that day.

I'll be heading up their way tomorrow to spend a week, last I heard he'll be getting out tomorrow if gets the o.k from Hospital in Bris.
