pepperdans ghost chili spinach dip

2 boxes of chopped spinach {comes in 9-11oz}
2 8oz packages of cream cheese
8oz sour cream
4oz onion {whatever you like, red,yellow,vadailia}
1tbs minced garlic
2 tps janes crazy mixed up salts {great stuff if not available substitute with onion/garlic salt/pepper}
1 .4 oz hidden valley butter milk dressing packet
1.5 oz of ghost chilis

first thaw and drain the spinach, don't wring it dry just drained

mince onion and on low heat saute onions till slightly opaque, then add garlic as to brown it not to burn it

photo-26.jpg

cut cream cheese in approx 1oz slices so they melt better, add cream cheese and sour cream on "low heat"

photo-25.jpg

at this time i deseed my ghost peppers, i like them slice extremely thin for this recipe, as thin as possible like little Julianne peppers

photo-27.jpg

after cheese has started to melt, fold in spinach turn heat up to "med", constantly stirring, add salt mixture, ranch dressing mixture and peppers

photo-24.jpg

keep stirring for 5 min to let the heat and peppers mix, and make sure all cheese has melted and mixed thoroughly
should be thin at this point, it will thicken up as it cools

photo-22-1.jpg

will be back with final results in a bit, great snack or side dish, the cheese and sour cream mellows out some of the heat. but still not for none chili heads
