Nelson
Green Down to the Socks

The Nelson is good, not rave-able but drinkable.

Crisp and quaffable for an IPA, a hint of funk, and a bitter apple cider aftertaste.

I tend to like the multiple hop over single hop beers I find. There's cheffing involved in getting it right, and you're not just relying on one note. I don't know if this analogy fits, but with spices... it's like having a dish with one spice instead of jerk or curry or your own blend... and I think OH really has the "cheffing" down... ahhh never mind me....

It's in your beloved 5 beans so why would it be off-putting if you keep telling me to try it? ;)

In Absentia Luci did 3 flavor variants. But asking why they put it, you could ask that about any ingredient someone didn't like.

Off putting to others here, but certainly not to me. There are other sweet spices that don't have the sharp floral spicy flavors that cardamom has.

Btw....you should try 5 beans. ; )

Yeah. My prob is I will love a beer that's a blend so I think I like the hops, then, have the single and not like it so much.

Motueka + Galaxy was the tits!!!!!!

Motueka by itself fell flat for me.

It just takes time, and drinking. ;)
