They have been hit or miss with me. Really liked Backwoods Bastard but otherwise unimpressed, so I normally pass them up.

Don't think so. But if people are there using untapped and put location you can see what they're drinking.

I think the barrel aging helps break up the sweetness. There are definitely some bad ones too. The good ones though are amazing. The bad ones make you feel ripped off.

For instance Prarie has it on lock. I haven't had one I didn't like. Avery does a great job too. Obviously Bourbon County was one of the OG's so theirs are definitely good. Not a gimmick but definitely a trend.
