I do like the blends though too. Simcoe and Amarillo are one of my favorites. Citra can star by itself too. But I like Mosaic best with others.

Simcoe, Amarillo are my absolute faves too. Truly wonderful flavors.

Citra and mosaic are becoming favorites too. 
 
I got a growler of a citra single hop IPA over the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Good but not great. Not sure Citra and Mosaic blend well. I'd definitely drink another one though. As a session this would be a good beer to take in the boat and not get too hammered.

I like it when I'm out of town because I can see beers I don't know and see people's rating. Plus you can see what beers have good beers.

Also this is where the brewmasters really stand out, you can't just mix anything together and it tastes good. That's why I used the word cheffing.

Yeah. I here that. This one is better. Pretty sure it was the cardamom that turned me off. I still prefer their Short Dark and Wired to these barrel aged ones.

They sounded so much better than they are.

Kind of. When you drink a beer you rate it and if you want you can take a pic and location your drinking it.

Any beer barrel aged tends to be too syrupy and concentrated for me. You lose a lot of the properties that make it beer. Hate to say it, but I think it's gimmicky.
 
But I know there's some BA fans here.

I was a couple of years ago. I deleted it due to not using it. I started using the Beermenu app more for what you described.

Can you look on Untapped to see what a brewery has on tap at that moment?

Def. the cardamom, for me it over powered everything and that's all I could taste and smell. If you really like cardamom I guess you would enjoy it. Looking forward to the other one, that sounds delicious. Ty
