I've had In Absentia Luci, base, non-barrel aged, and I still like Short Dark & Handsome better and Short Dark & Wired even better! Prob my fave stout of all time.

I find boozy IPAs don't have that alcohol nose like stouts... I've had some killer 11%ers... but with stouts it's just way more boozy as in, smells like actual rum etc.. and that tends to put me off, I like my stouts more 7-10 I guess.

There are so many variations of that stout too.  I want to try them all.  Reminds me of Pokémon.  Gotta catch em' all lol !!!!

That's the thing about Big Bad Baptista, it changes a every batch. This was batch #74 and it was awesome but now there is a bunch of batch #76 on the shelves that aren’t going anywhere...

NYC actually had very nice water from what I remember.....compared to other parts of the world.
