beer Being Crafty

Recently discovered this limited release from Cooper ale works in Oklahoma. Their F5 IPA is legit so thought I would try this and glad I did. First sip is like getting stung in the nads by a bumble bee. So glad the honey didn't make it taste like a cough drop like others I've tasted which was a real turn off. They don't specify what hops are being used, just says American hops.

Cone Flakes IIPA
We call it Cone Flakes because you might as well have poured hops into a bowl, added beer, and used a spoon.   Cone Flakes is brewed with 6 hop varieties strategically added during the brewing process to provide a maelstrom of fruity and herbal hop tones.  Look for flavors of mango, ruby red grapefruit, melon, passionfruit, thyme/herbs, black pepper, lime, and pine.  Malt not forgotten, a base of UK pale malt and German Vienna provide just enough body and character to keep the bitterness and ABV from getting the best of the flavor!
