I'm thawing out the fruit additions for my gose that is now done with primary fermentation. I think the tangerine/mango combo will be great in this brew.

I'm also going to bottle my latest NEIPA today. It looks, smells, and tastes great. I think it will be winner, once fully carbed. I wanted to take a pic of the carboy, because it looks like 5 gallons of OJ, but I am keeping it completely away from light, since I don't want to skunk the hops.

Yeah ... good idea, too.

Read an article last night that said to reprogram your thinking of hop pellets to be 'air-sponges' and it'll improve the longevity of your beer.

Blowing off the head-space doesn't begin to cut it, especially if you don't have active yeast in suspension ...

So, that extra 2oz package I added for a 2nd round ... to clear, month+ old beer ... uhm, yeah, no bueno, LOL ...

OFFICIAL NOTICE

I will be reciprocating PPATB goodies with bottles of homebrew or other culinary-related goodies, or gadgets, but probably not commercial beer for the foreseeable future.

... because I haven't been buying any, and I don't intend to start either! :D

Nice sammy, but nicer beer ... one of the high point from all the NE's offerings I've had in the past couple of weeks ...

At least I'll know whether or not any orange/juicinext I can muster up is anything like an actual NEIPA now ...

I think the Starfish from Aslin is a pretty representative beer of where the style began, in the regular-heft IPA range ...

The bigger one's are also delicious, but the other flavors from their higher weight class clouds up the orange juicinext too, making them a little less delectable while packing some wallop ...

The Stormy oat ipa's really does remind of the 3rd anniversary, that's why I bought so many. North peak is a well known restaurant that went brewery at some point and the website doesn't show they really distribute outside of Michigan. Kinda scratching my head on to how these made it down here. I'm sure Bell's recent arrival to Texas has something to do with it...
