Exceeded my expectation, for sure ... since I don't care for the smell of roses whatsoever.

I heard/read from Wheebz that Ozzy's brewing very tasty beer, and I brewed a nice batch of a similar tripel to his that tasted nice ...
 
But he's also got the distinction of having sent me what can only be called Teh Metallica Beer - which was uhm, not good!

I would imagine Wheebz enjoyed making fun of my Jay's Bhut Stout that finished at 1.045, and probably to Ozzy I suspect ...
 
I actually drank those, and kind of liked the beer-shake aspect ...

Should have gotten some of that to D3 - he'd have been in heaven ... everything wrong about it, would have been right for D3!

I enjoyed a few of my Hbs. The Wheebz porter, Bumpers Smash, and my lame attempt at Pliney. All three of those were enjoyable. The Kolsch and this last one where ok, but lacking.

Wheebz saison and imperial stout were great ...
 
The XXX Mild was good, and the eis'd Red Eye, PA was baller ...
 
The Golden Stout was delicious for a few weeks, while the coffee flavor was baller, but not good at all once it vanished (revealing some fusel-like higher alcohols from either the Rum, or more likely, from the yeast starter affliction all of my later batches had) ...

That place is really cool. I chatted with the owner one afternoon for about half an hour. He seemed really interested in getting some NEIPA style brews out here when I mentioned the brews that were sent to me.
