Question for the homebrewers: I noticed my new brew kettle has scorch marks from the first use. Is this normal and will it affect the quality of future batches? Looks ugly

I use both, depending on the weather. My kettles have scorch marks on the outside bottom of the kettle. That's mainly from accidentally spilling wort on the electric coil, and it burning into the metal bottom. Could be from the butane flame too, but probably not.

Not a better beer per se, than either, just the coffee in particular ... the way it's perceived with the lactose. Wow ...

A few mins ago I passed on saying this, but ...

This is the NEIPA of dark beer ...

They're the masters of milk stout, bar none, and you get the feeling they've axed the roasted barley entirely, beyond leaving it whole, and let a massive dosing of coffee fill the role ...

If you dig coffee lyfe, it's killer ...

Shouldn't effect it. Although try to adjust the flame so it's mostly blue flame with just the tips of the flames orange. It will definitely get abbot discolored but n the bottom but I haven't noticed and flavor problems.

What's the name of your electric cook pad thing. Does it work well for boing wort?

Shouldn't effect it. Although try to adjust the flame so it's mostly blue flame with just the tips of the flames orange. It will definitely get abbot discolored but n the bottom but I haven't noticed and flavor problems.
