the tartness is very welcome... it doesn't taste like a sour at all, the bitterness of an IPA mingles with the tartness of the prickly w/o going full sour.... like, well, in a sour... nope...
All very different, tart being ike green apple, sour being like lemon juice, bitter being like biting a lemon seed... here, the tart shines!
