Man, if I get snowed in this Winter, I'm going to get absolutely ripped from all of the Home Brew I've got ageing.
Lol, true! Being snowed gives me a good excuse to tell the Mrs., as to why I've had 3+ beers before noon.t0mato said:
Oatmeal Stout...done. I pitched some washed 1084 from my last batch of porter. Enjoying a celebratory HB scottish ale. I made a yeast stater with 1728 for the RIS I'll be brewing this Saturday. I'm shooting for a 1.15 gravity on that one. It will be the highest gravity brew I've ever attempted.

Was still changing when I drank it a few weeks ago, MANY MONTHS later ... I ultimately dumped the last 2-3x bottles just so I could wash all of my bottles at once etc ...

Not my finest beer, certainly, LOL ... but not because of ferm - it fermed - I just had a weird recipe (and used an assload of HM01's blackberry preserves in it) ...

Was off the chart in the refractometer and I had to extrapolate ...
