Not interested in arguing it, but you must know that you actually get greater hop oil retention with centrifuge filtering. I don't brew but I do read up on the science. It is possible to make a beer with almost no solids that drinks like a NEIPA if you were blindfolded. To be fair the hop oils will give it a slight haze.

 NE styles cover the whole spectrum of ABV, certainly not exclusive to Higher abv's. I've had NE session ipas and blondes under 5% to big triples and imperials. Some breweries do tend to brew a lot of Higher ABV stuff in the NE style, Other Half being a main one, but they also have lower ABV stuff too. NE Style really just represents the heavy dry-hopping and expressive yeast strains used resulting in the Hazy appearance no matter the actual style of beer being brewed.

I really liked Chubbles. It has a nice bready malt bill to it. I do agree, it is high ABV, and a bit sweet, so I could only drink one can in a sitting.
