That's because you don't know how to listen to it.

Most people raised on rock n roll don't know how to listen to reggae, and the common theme amongst them is "it all sounds the same".

People from other cultures raised on their local music could say the same about rock n roll.

But that's because they don't know how to listen to it.

It's a totally different listening style.

Not trying to offend you CS but I've studied music for many years and that is my take when I hear the commonly mentioned "It all sounds the same."

I suspected that could strike a nerve with someone...It's the same instruments, accents and beat. That's why it sounds the same. Not because I don't know how to listen to it. Which LOL by the way.

So what you are saying is you came in here looking for trouble. Unless you want me up in the threads you enjoy and frequent, acting clown.

Get the f**k outta here if you don't like it. Rather than coming in here and saying some ignorant shit.

What's the point? You quoted it...Again, sorry. Had no idea this thread meant that much to you. Wasn't trying to disrespect.

I'm just trying to share another taste of the culture that brought us superhots.

This is a sound system, not a joke.

I take soundclaash business very serious.

This isn't hip hop. Rasta outlaw sound is nothing to take lightly to me.

Dozens of great dancehall toasters have died (been murdered) for the cause.

The 80's and 90's was a very violent time in reggae dancehall, these f**kers were constantly challenging each other to dual's.

There is no other music so sweet and so violent IMO.

Example:

(Not a threat, don't take it the wrong way, I'm just trying to show you something)

These songs are actual threats they made to each other. Frequently ending in gun violence and deaths.
