The old lady talked me in to making turkey sliders a couple weeks ago. I took one bite and threw them in the trash, no lie. They didn't even belong in the crappy food thread.
Go'in Green..............with the habanero thing and Organic Beef..............and then ya have the $hit that ain't.....
Wisconsin Cheddar, Applewood Bacon, Vidalia Onion, Pickles, and Gevevese Tomatoes...
The meat was weighed in at an 8 oz'er...until I added 12 Habanero's....nothin to sneeze or cough at...unless you stood over them and cleaned and diced them like I did........
Somebody say "Bacon Lattice" ?
After the weave I brushed on Maple syrup, sprinkled on Brown Sugar and dusted it with Red 7/Pot powder............ah...CHEW !
Grilled over high heat and hickory chips..............yes there's a burger hiding under the Cheddar and Bacon.......lol
Gee...I hope it turns out well done.......I mean, done well.................ah, let's just say.."medium rare".........
Inspired by Texas blues smash burgers. I had to gild the lily a little bit though, fried with ghee, double patty, the homemade relish ( not pictured ) is mandatory on burgers here, and some cold smoked Jalapeno Havarti .
