food Burgers? Hell Yeah!!

Two beef patties with 1/2 tbs Walkerswood jerk paste for a bit of warmth, salt and spice.

Toasted Turkish roll, beef patties.  Deglazed the pan with tsp of dill pickle pickle, added 2 fine diced dill pickles, 1/2 Tbs French's mustard and 1/5 cup cheddar cheese.  Off the heat until gooey.

Beer reticled auto focus on something before falling over... Best tasting burger I've had fer ages.  No poo.  Screw the trend for bleeding patties.

i would do a greek umami bomb burger tonight if i had feta ...

Greek burgers are some of my fav, oddly ...

Probably because I think feta and beef tomato rock together ...
Feta and sauteed shrooms in wine on a burger on pita bread, trust. Greek salad on side.


My fav alt-burger ...
 
Honestly I like to take a little Greek salad and put on the burger I just mentioned. Needs the acid and it just rocks, yeah.
 
Fresh pita rocks... love it. For burgers cut two squares and toast for grill marks and it stiffens up a bit, makes good buns.

That 'thang rocks and I'd the the hell out of but.....
 
The meat looks too pressed and handled.
 
Even in the final pic it looks like its almost a steak.
 
But that's just me.
 
I dig to be digging my burgers to be loose as sheeit.
 
Not loosey goosey loose meat/sloppy joe loose but manhandled as little as possible.
 
But got dang.
 
That looks goodern' hell.
 
Sounds good. Will be done once I learn how to make homemade pita with my SD starter.


I had the beef really plain last night to compare/contrast ...

The best PLF beef (to me, obviously) is the short-rib one ...
 
I've picked a few not fully grown peppers off my plants today so it'll encourage more growth. Can I use the peppers I picked to cook burgers with? Thanks

Sure you can j92!  Raw on the side, sauteed and on top under the cheese, chopped fine and mixed into the meat - lotsa ways to get your pepper burger fix on.  :)
