Doesn't matter much to me what you put on a burger, as long as there's no mayo, mustard, or ketchup. I'm only going to eat about 1/4 to 1/2 as a burger, then disassemble it, anyway. Kimchi? YUM.

Anyone ever tried smoking their beef patty? I am not sure it would be good, but I was thinking, maybe smoke it for 30 minutes or so, then finish it on the grill.

I smoked the ground beef in balls that I used to make chili once in a DC ... I should have done it more subtly ... like 2 mins worth while raw is probably more than enough ...
