CaneDog - Off-Season Season 2018/19

Thought I'd post a few pics of what I have going on indoors this off-season.  I used to do a winter indoor grow about every season, but this will be my first in a couple years now.  I went a bit over-board with the number of plants, as usual, but I've culled a few already and I have expansion room if needed.
 
I'm using a handy little extra walk-in closet to start things out. Keeps temp well and makes it easy to chill and work with the plants.

Most everything's potted up into 1g Boxer Browns now.  Here's a few of this season's players.

And this guy is a 7 Pot White that sprouted late right up against another plant, so I yanked it out.  It had what seemed like only about 2mm of root still attached, but I stuck it in Kratky and it not only survived but seems fairly happy.

That WM is a sweet plant and I'd expect the JPGS x BOC could have some real potential.  Should be really cool to see - and taste - all those varieties side-by-side.

Bhut-load, I agree even though the JPGS x BOC are f2s so should be fun. Maybe Ill shoot ya some pods . Definitely digging the plants you got, bushy healthy things. Patience I suppose

Are those some of the 1G's grow bags you bought recently Red? Those are 10xs better quality then the ones I have been buying .
 
 
Yep, those are the 1g boxer browns.  They do seem of good quality.  My only rap on them would be how stiff the material is.  In the small bags there isn't enough soil weight to cause the bag to fill out into a nice even shape - some of them will sit at a bit of an angle as a result - plus those stiff handles tend to stick out and get in the way.  But at just under $10 for every 10 bags delivered, the price is right.  Just a guess, but I suspect the thicker/stiffer material may may show more benefits on slightly larger containers.

Thanks, it works pretty well for something I just slapped together.  Plus when I'm not starting seeds it serves other useful purposes!

Yeah its like Pepper Pornography...or to a lesser extent maybe Glamour Shots for Pepper..reminds me of when I was 10  and a friend and I stumbled on a book my aunt gave my uncle for Christmas....minus the 500+ pound lady in see through lingerie.../shiver...ok well ......maybe it doesn't. :eek: :shocked: :scared:
 
So the pepper pics are great..the other..not so much.
 
Two more CAP 1141's popped yesterday, so another 3 / 5.  Was kinda cool. Right after I snapped the pic and was still looking through the viewfinder, the cotyledon popped free of the seed coat.  Took another quick pic and gif'd them into this animation. May not carry as well after the fact, but was pretty cool to see it as it happened.  Something like if you were checking to see if a seed had germinated and you happened to be watching right at the moment it popped into visibility. You know there has to be that moment that it happens, but it's such a fleeting moment how likely is it to be watching when it does?

A couple more pics as I multi-task while watching some football.
 
First, just one more attempt at capturing how small these Lance sprouts are.  And this is a small, 9oz solo cup, not a normal sized one. Going to be a while before I feel comfortable that these guys are established and "safe."
