catchthebear 2020

A little slow out of the gate this year, but I had some time today to get some seeds dropped this afternoon.

Most everything here has come from trades this year, so a very big thank you to all that have swapped with me.  I also have at least another 100 or so varieties I plan to start very soon.  Will likely start those at work and not keep tabs on them as much until they're a bit larger, so those will probably show up in this Glog some point further down the line.

Here's what I got rolling today as well as some photos.  Thanks for scoping it out!

My 2019 Grow Log  http://thehotpepper.com/topic/71476-catchthebear-2019/

Your raised bed garden looks just pristine, Matt!

Glad to see you finally getting a chance to catch
your breath. Now nothing left but to enjoy your
nice grow!

Thanks Paul!  I'll have to scope your grow log in a bit here and see what you've been up to.  Happy to be back in business over here.:)

Back from hiatus here.  Been a bit of a different year/season for me.  Quite a few things to post updates on, but I think I'll do it over several posts to keep things easy.  I've been posting photos fairly regularly on Facebook/Instagram, but it is much easier to post things there without having to put a whole lot of thought into it

First I want to show off my 3D printed contraptions from Texas Troy.  A seed dryer and a seed organizer.  Very excited/happy to have them and am making good use of them at the moment.

Looking forward to seeing how everyone else is doing with their plants! :)  Lots to catch up on!

So I'm gonna read between the lines and ask: have you crossed Mutant CandleLight with the Variegated jalapeño?

Those look so frickin' amazingly!!! I love it when I see experimentation taking place! Beautiful stuff!!!!

Those will be amazing!

What is this purple mutant in the foreground? Or not-so-green-looking......at all. Lol

I'm not 100% sure what that's crossed with to be honest.  It's the only one that looks like that from all the seeds I planted.  I had the parent plant next to some darker leaved varieties, but can't recall which.

Total awesomeness!!!!!!!!
That's the first purple Mutant (Candlelight?) I've seen!!!!!

There's a guy in Indonesia named Agus creating some real crazy crosses with mutants.  Check out his page  https://www.facebook.com/agus.b.widagdo
Wow! Crazy! (A few mutual friends. Lol.)
I'll be checking his stuff out!
Thank you!
I'm getting a few crosses to take this year (2-3 so far, I think.) I am growing out two previous crosses. One is on F3, another F5.......

Do you have some of your own going?

I do have some of his growing, but not the mutants.  I have some on the way, but they've been held up in customs (or lost).  Been waiting 4+ months for them now. :|

Been great fun growing these out.
Thanks for sending them my way!
Really hoping to get some good
seeds from these pods.

I would really like to keep the plant
going during the winter. Any suggestions?
